Giveaways

I have not been getting any sleep these days because I have been checking Amazon daily to see if  my book is out. Thankfully my friends at CNSstores.com have bed sets for people like me to get a good nights rest. Honestly these weeks were hard for me. Now remember last week Sunday where I showed you guys the Madeleines and I spoke about getting the pan? Well if you do not have some essential baking tools you can win them right here and right now by going to CNSstores.com and checking out their kitchen tools section. The prize is 75 USD redeemable at any of of their over 200 stores online so knock yourself out. Entering this giveaway will give you an extra entry in the next giveaway where you can win a copy of my first book Caribbean Vegan. So it is a win win situation. Since I do not have my author’s copies as yet I will wait until I have them to do a continuation to this giveaway. If you are not clear suppose I have 25 people entering for the 75 dollars gift certificate when I do the 2nd giveaway for the book it would start from number 26 and I will draw a random number again.

Contest Rules (Read Carefully)

1. As usual go to CNSstores.com and tell me what you want to buy or tell me what you want to get for your kitchen….I am nosy.

2. Make sure you input your email address in the form

3. If you have a blog and you link this giveaway to the blog you get a 3rd entry for this giveaway so you will have 2 entries in this one and 1 in the other one get me? You should also state that Caribbean Vegan is out because I think no one knows I exist for some reason people are surprised that this book is out. Do backlink so I can count you again. Yes you can borrow the photo from my blog. If you do not have a blog please ignore this.

4. Do all of this by October 22nd 2010 12 PM EST.

5.Check back the blog on this date so get your markers out because when I draw and you do not claim your prize it goes back into the pot and it will be redrawn again.

6.US and Canadian residents all others like people like me from other places make sure you have a skybox(a service which gives you a USA address to receive mail or a nice aunt who you can use her home address to ship your winnings too(do make sure you ask her)..also the prize does not  include shipping.

Good Luck my friends!!!!

CARIBBEAN VEGAN (yes I have to put this baby is CAPS)

How many people are tired of the wait we had for Caribbean Vegan??? Well the wait is over and finally all the lurkers can get recipes for Bajan Salt Bread, turnovers, and Bajan seasoning. For the other folks who do not know what these recipes but are curious there are all in book. Caribbean Vegan is not just some recipes thrown in a book it is also a beautiful cookbook with stunning photography by my good friend Cynthia Nelson. I do not know what else to say just buy I promise you that you will get your moneys worth and you will gain new information. If you do not do the Amazon thing email me and I will try my best to tell you where you can find it but in a few weeks most bookstores will have especially if they have a vegan section. Christmas is coming up and you cannot think of a gift…Caribbean Vegan …ok I will stop now I sound like a used car salesman. Oh you will not be able to look into the book as yet on Amazon but that will be up in a few weeks. Thank you so much to the ones who preordered the book I am waiting for your emails to learn about your experience with Caribbean Vegan

Food (Because this is a food blog still and not a used car sales lot)

Again, I was invited out to lunch but I refused and I made this for us today. Next week I will be posting a Caribbean favourite so look out for that.

What do you think? I am sure I would not have gotten this at the restaurant today….

Thanks for the giveaway, how generous. Can I just say I want everything? Okay, well, I want a set of ceramic ramekins but I also want some 4″ tart pans only I want one of those double french bread molds and basically everything else I just saw while browsing. Paula Deen’s snowman molds come to mind. I also have absolutely got to have some donut pans. Oh boy, if I win I am in DEFINITE trouble.LOL.
I’m really, really looking forward to your cookbook coming out and the meal you made, as usual, looks delish and I’m sure you and your sweetie really enjoyed it. I get you on the whole restaurant deal, meals at home generally taste better. I also have to say that your husband thinks he’s doing something special and nice for you by asking you out so maybe you should give him a break but choose the restaurant yourself. It’ll make him feel good. I don’t know why, my husband’s the same way, he really misses taking me out but the fact that he even wants to speaks worlds for his esteem. I think we’re pretty lucky women.

    another spectacular dish as always…great.

I am planning to spotlight and feature throughout the month of November cookies that vegans can enjoy for the Holidays.

I would like for all the vegan bloggers on my blogroll to participate.

I would like to include you as one of my blog guests for that month.

After the 4 days I will highlight another blogger friend. Once I have highlighted you, you then need to post it on your blog sending your blogger friends towards my blog to see your guest post.

Make sure your recipe is not complicated.

If you are interested to join me fir the month of November with your best vegan or raw cookie recipe, please email me all the information I have requested by October 20th.

Your entry must be in writing and sent to me via email. I need you to send me a photo of yourself and a photo of your family. Congrats on your book! I’ll definitely check it out.

As for that CSN gift code, I’d probably put it toward a slow cooker with a timer. I’ve never had a slow cooker before and I’m eager to start slow cooking!

Some thing that you happen to be especially misled in that problem. Increased petrol associated with Bulgaria may be a percentage houses.
