Hi Guys,
I wanted to say a special thank you to everyone who ordered, my testers, well wishers and just general blog readers.
This is me as of today with my copy of Caribbean Vegan. I do not smile easily so I did not want to do the fake smile thing but, this is the resting expression of my face. Anyways I am elated I am actually holding a copy of the book
I finally got my copy and I wanted to give a mini review of the book and I wanted everyone to see what I look like because apparently I have been mis identified a few times so I want to set the record straight . All jokes aside I just wanted my readers to hear my voice and see who is the person behind Caribbean Vegan and I will be uploading more videos in the future.

That makes you think they you need to take better care of yourself or something. Anyways I was just poking fun at myself with that issue. I do not think a lot of ppl know me they just know the name of the site and do not know it is the same person who wrote the book so I am just re introducing myself. Putting a face to the blog and to the book and stuff. Kinda scared putting myself out there but that is life huh you have to take chances.
Hooray!! How wonderful to finally have it, after all the hard work to get it into reality!!! Can’t wait to have a copy and make some of your yummy food!

I got your book last week. Thanks so much — I had preordered from months ago but the wait was worth it. In your book, you recommend Madras curry powder from the caribbean. What brand did you use? I will be traveling to Miami soon and I think i may be able to find it there
Lisa I will email you a list…I have one that this guy packages in St. Martin called Kalinas but I am not sure you will get that in Miami. A lot of Trinidadians reside in Miami and there are a bunch of brands that you can get I will try to get real names because at the moment I cannot think of any at the top of my head even if I used them all my life. Look out for an email.
I got your book today in the mail! I’m so excited about it that I plan to order more copies for gifts this holiday season 🙂
