No, no this is not a way to get out of my weekly blog post but I have been very run down within the last 2 weeks in both my personal life and prof life and I really wanted to do a Quiche tutorial this week but it will happen but later in the week.
As time draws closer to the launch of Caribbean Vegan the first Caribbean book I wanted to show you some snaps I took as I was testing. Note they are not going to be in the book as the book was professionally shot by Cynthia Nelson but, these snapshots show you a some of the dishes that will be in the book.
If you have not yet pre ordered you still have about 6 more weeks left before it goes on sale for regular price.
I am considering getting a Facebook fan page of the book and site included and I will give you the news once I sort that out as it will be a community where you can meet people and give your own personal tips and experiences with Caribbean Vegan.
I know there are many Caribbean people who read this blog often I can see you (:)) Do drop me a line at WWW.ISLANDLOVEGOURMET.COM and tell me where you are from and what vegan Caribbean dish is your favourite.

I would like to thank my testers again for putting up with me and doing an excellent job. I miss you all already and it was really interesting working with people all over the world to make this book a reality.
Thank you The Experiment Publishing for giving someone from the Caribbean a chance to enter the International Vegan Cook book community. I never thought these things happen to people from the Caribbean and thank you for giving me a chance to show this cuisine to the rest of the world.
Thank you blog readers and everyone who is so kind to make a comment on this blog. I am horrible with making comments on other blogs but I will improve. I was honestly really busy this past year to go on blogs but I have a little time now and you will hear from me.

Yummy yummy yummy! I am going to make the tofu/hearts of palm scramble again as soon as the heat breaks here . . . and DOUBLES!
Those doubles were some of the nicest food I’ve ever eaten. I can’t wait to get ti!
