Happy New Year all

I am almost back to posting and sharing what will be coming up for this month and beyond. First of all I just want to tell you the reason for my absence was due to my christmas holidays in Barbados. Yes I went home and I was very happy to be back home. I have been cooking but doing some major shopping for my pantry. I do hope that my suitcases are not overweight so wish me luck.

Here is a photo I snapped with my new christmas gift  of the beautiful sunset at Brown’s Beach Barbados( Carlisle Bay).

For those who have requested recipes I  have not forgotten you. Give me until next week to send you them and then you can curse me if I do not come through. I have been busy in the last few weeks. I have also started writing a bi weekly column entitled The Vegan Way in the local newspapers. I will be back to cooking up a storm in a few days so keep me in your thoughts.

Coming up soon will be a guest post by a very popular blogger I visited a few weeks ago. I am excited about this already. I will be showing a few shots from the cookbook finally and I will be back to my regular posting.

Stay tuned

    Happy New Year!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo, it’s gorgeous!

Now that it’s been cold for some time I’m ready for the warm weather again.
This photo reminds me of my first time to St. Thomas. I went with my husband, before we were married, and a very dear friend who works for the Airlines. The first night we met some locals and the next day they took us to St. John and we just hung out with them for the few days we were there. It was so pretty. We loved St. John actually more than St. Thomas.

Have you been to Turks and Caicos?
